  1. Email us at enquiry@transponderservices.com to advise you want to send your transponder for repair and we will confirm
  2. Click here to download a Transponder Services REPAIR FORM - it contains important mailing details
  3. Send transponder with REPAIR FORM and notify us you have sent transponder
  4. We notify you transponder has been received and shortly after an invoice is emailed to you
  5. Make payment , transponder dispatched back with email notification

Payments

Payment is not required until transponder has been repaired.

Clients outside of Australia can pay via PayPal (accepts Credit Cards securely online), International Bank Transfer or Western Union. Non Australian checks or money orders are not acceptable.

Australian clients can pay via Bank Transfer, PayPal, Cheque, Australia Post Money Order or cash at pickup.

Rechargeable battery replacement $69AUD each

99% of problems with this transponder is that the battery has failed.
This is indicated by the transponder not running or the light not giving the usual indications.

Case can be repaired and bottom plate restored if missing or damaged.

99% of problems with this transponder is that the battery has failed.
This is indicated by the transponder not running or the light not giving the usual indications

Powered by external power source (DP - Direct Powered)

Unfortunately the only part repairable it the power lead
If transponder is powering up and light is on and is not recording laps then it cannot be repaired by us. Note that all Mylaps direct powered transponders have a 3 year warranty, contact Mylaps.

If the power cable is OK and the transponder does not work transponder cannot be repaired

Long-life battery replacement $85AUD each

90% of problems with this transponder is that the battery has failed.
Electronics failure is another cause but that is not repairable.
You only pay for transponders that are successfully repaired.

Do not store these transponder near the active loop as this will exhaust the battery rapidly.

These transponders are used in rental Go Kart's

Rechargeable battery replacement $35AUD each

99.% of problems with this transponder is that the battery has failed.
After a full charge of 16-20hrs they should run green for at least 8 hours.
Less than 8 hours indicates the battery should be replaced.

Post side case (back shell) replacement $15AUD at time of battery service - only if required

LED (light) replacement if required at time of battery service $15AUD each

These transponders are used in Remote Control car racing and low speed/indoor Go Kart racing

The wire can get broken were it enters the transponder body, this is not user replaceable.
